This is a review of the Aycorn Crab Digital Baby Bath and Room Thermometer
This is the Aycorn Crab Digital Bath and Room Thermometer that is a little yellow and blue crab measuring in at 11.4 x 7.2cm is a great toy/tool for keeping a happy and appropriately warmed bath time.
The Aycorn crab provides you with an accurate temperature reading within one second and updates every five seconds. To get it started requires a tap, this makes it quite a simple thing to do when you monitoring your baby at bath time and do need to try and find the on switch, I have however found it difficult to turn it off, it has an auto off feature of what seems an hour but I feel this unnessarily wastes the battery when I could just turn it off once not using it.
The large LCD screen is easy to read, even when submerged in bath time bubbles! The crab itself is BPA-free and meets all EU safety standards according to what the packaging says.
The Aycorn Crab also provides extra safety measures by having a red flashing LED when the temperature of the water gets to hot at above 39 degrees, and will display the word "Hot" to confirm this additionally if the temperature gets too cold (below 32 degrees C) you will see the world "Cold" displayed. What I would say is that aslong as your using it for bath time it makes sense, however if you are also using the Aycorn crab for room temperature you'll find you'll have the "Cold" displayed most of the time with an average room temperature around 21-23 degrees.
